From these cars I'd probably go for the 650i, because it's the best alrounder, although if it was was 911 S, then I go for that!

You see, I really like the porsche interior. Its simple but attractive and not overdone like the bimmer and mercedes. Its a very good looking package and its silly to think otherwise.

Just realized that the Porsche was the only one with a manual gearbox... still not a bad performance from the rest of the pack.

I think that the 6er looks great, even better considering this one doesn't have the sport pack. But I think it's going to come second to the Porsche for me. A Porsche is a Porsche, while a BMW and Benz are a lot more common.

Is it just me or does it seem that BMW fans are also Porsche fans and vise versa, while Audi fans are also Mercedes Fans. Interesting. Im going to set up a poll to test that in this forum...

I think most of us are Porsche fans. I can't imagine many of us picking our respective brand over a 911. Cayenne and Boxter, maybe. But the 911 just has a special place for all of us I think.

I think your correct. Everybody on this forum likes one brand (audi, BMW Mercedes) and then porsche. It seems to me that porsche is always a favorite.

This is true about Porsche because Porsche really has no direct rival from Germany so we all end up liking/respecting Porsche because there is no other dedicated German sports car maker to side with other than Porsche. That and the fact their their cars are the darlings of the market. Even when Porsche built those cheap interiors in the first Boxster and 996 the press loved them to death for other reasons. BMW, Audi and Mercedes wish they could have gotten away with such doings. That said even I would have a hard time chosing a 911 C4S Cabrio over a SL. There is something about that widebody on the Carrera 4 models that says sexy. Imagine what hand washing a 911 must be like!

Well I supose I agree with you here.
But I also amire and respect Porsche for how far they camed up from a
rebadged Bettle covertible to what they are today. And also for the DIVINE work they've done with the 911.
