Just watch Formula1. A F1 car dont have the same settings in all races for a whole season, they are adjusting the car for that particulary track they are racing on.
M6, SL55, Gallardo or whatever car you can think of, those are Roadcars and they are using the same settings all the time, the way they leave the factory so to speak.

Man the Z06 is awesome. But why cound't Chevy spend more on the inteior for their supercar. Those questions were around for the C5 as well, dno C4. Anyways the Z06 beating the GT by 2sec surprised me.

The comparison should be Z4M vs. Boxter S vs. SLK55. However in this test teh M6 was faster than the 996 turbo, the vantage, and teh SL55 which is pretty impressive. Did this SL55 have the abc suspension setup?

I think all SL's have ABC. Wow the M6 rocked the 996 Turbo on a track? No small feat, M6 is a monster. I dunno if the older SL55 can compete on most tracks with an M6.

the answer is no but the old SL55 sure can give the new M5 a match around a track.

This is how Chevy can make a car capable of beating the cars it does and still only cost $65000 USD. They had to cut corners somewhere.

65 000 USD only in USA.
In Europe it's between 120 000 to 200 000 USD.
Let's see:
VAT + import tax + engine capacity tax (7 litre = IRS darling ) + PERHAPS luxury car tax.
That bosts the price alot.

Wow then if it goes for that price I dno how it can be much of a bargain. The SL65 should keep up and have the much needed luxury.

The Z06 isnt a bargain in europe. We have cheaper cars that are faster ie TVR sagaris, tuscan and even the t350c is necka nd neck with the z06. Then we also have the nobles.

but I rather drive a Z06 7 days a week than a TVR because its more comfortable.
I would only buy a TVR if I could afford two cars.
