| Re: Whats your predictions of the E63 AMG i wonder what the M division will do this time around..they are not known for updating their M modells.. they make one and stick with it.. through out the production.. ( or maybe im wrong) but they dont do any power increases afaik.. so i wonder if they will do it with the M5.. or have it as it is .. i think they need to.. cause the competition is harder these days..

| Re: Whats your predictions of the E63 AMG the new e63 might be marginally quicker thean the last because it has more hp but a lot less torque...it will be faster than the m5 in acceleration possibly but thats it...plus 2000 new parts doesnt mean much its essentially the same car

Thats very true. When the f/l come for the M5 I doubt M will do an engine upgrade. Thay don`t even modify the bodies of the M`s Those stay the same I believe. That might change though. MB keeps coming at us with ever larger V8s

i dont think M feels the need to update its models because their their own entity apart from the core 5er models from the get go. As where an AMG is a different engine, few software & suspension upgrades from the core car and thats it, so it fits in right along in the schedule w/ the core models. | |

| Re: Whats your predictions of the E63 AMG yeah they dont change it.. and okay the M5 might be able to keep up with the E63.. that mights still be so close that it comes down to your taste in cars.. but the RS6 that car is brand new.. it will kill the M5 and the E63.. and then the new E comes out before the new 5er.. so imo bmw should get into the FL upgrade game.. cause competition is HARD now..

BMW might offer a sportchassi for M5 E60 if the competition is getting harder, if you buy a RS4 you can get sportchassi on your RS4, they have two different chassis for Rs4. PS didnt 5er E60 come year 2003?
