I cant stop wondering which one you would pick since you love both of them. Tricky decision?

One thing for sure, the S63 looks hell lot better.

The interior of the panny looks dull in grey.

Ha...You thought we were scared didn't you.

Thats fine, the Porsche is lighter. I still believe the S65 AMG is lord of sedans and that won't change. S63 AMG is still a nice ride as well.

But Porsche is the Lord of Hatchbacks!

Yea, that is odd. Edmunds has the S63 AMG at 5.2 Seconds yet the S65 AMG at 4.4 seconds http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=123990 . I don't think the S63 AMG is "that" much slower then the S65 AMG.

They are two completely different cars. I doubt that someone is comparing these two when purchasing a high performance sedan. The Panamera Turbo's "natural" enemies seem to be the E63, RS6 and M5. The S63 is a luxury sedan which affords much more room..especially to rear occupants at a cost of nearly 350lbs over the Panamera Turbo. Just because the price is nearly the same...doesn't make this a good comparison.

Porsche claim Panamera is all in one. No wonder carmags test the Panamera against pretty much everything. Autozeitung also have a comparison between Panamera and Alpina B7.
In the past we seen the Panamera go up against M5,RS6,E63.
Panamera is on a winning strike, crushing every opponent it goes up against.

While I agree that Panamera isnt a beauty I think the interior is superb. I sat inside a Panamera last weekend and the interior is a very nice place to be in. It felt exclusive, luxury and you got this cosy feeling. The interior is a winner.

Is the panamera a 5 series competitor or a 7 series one ?

But let them run a test where the author of the article needs to go cross country with a bunch of luggage and passengers. Then make the author switch to the rear seating area during that "test". Throw in some rough roads and maybe the Panamera's winning streak may come to an end. People don't buy S63s to go run around a race track....and honestly...neither will the overwhelming majority of people buying a Panamera. The "all in one" concept is great...but the people who can afford these cars are going to have their daily driver (S63) and their "toys". The Panamera may be as fast as the "toys" but I can assure you that the toys will be much better looking....
