Top of the stops - Braking test; X6 vs S-class vs Mini

We pick the cars with the best brakes in six classes and put them through their paces in an emergency stop shoot-out.

Finding out how fast new cars can go is easy – but what about how quickly they stop? While data about power and torque outputs, top speed and 0-60mph sprint times are all simple to find in glossy brochures, how a car comes to a halt is much harder to quantify. That’s why we record stopping distances in our road tests.

Entertaining video. The S-Class is a ballerina in a whale's body. Had no idea it has such agility.

X6 impress, shortest braking distance, fastest lane change than the others in this test. Despite looking like a rhino and being the heaviest. Forza SUV

Very impressive for the S-Class considering the fact that this is one of the lower versions.

same case with X6, its just a lower diesel version, but handling wont make any difference unless its AMG or M.
