![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The Mercedes-benz E550 will indeed step on the others toes when it comes to overall quality. (Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Lexus are considered the top three in the Lux-car catagory.) Give me E550 with 4-Matic AWD and the Sport Package. I`ll have the added respect (and looks) that Im driving the best car in it`s class. The jag would be my second choice.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Easy poll it is! The mighty 550i gets my vote followed by M45! Old cars still ahead in many rings! ![]() ![]() 1) BMW 550i : The king & aggressive looks! After all those years, still holding the benchmark like she did on very 1st day! ![]() 2) Infiniti M45 : Great essence & awesome performer! Probably the best family sports-sedan ever from Japan! Kudos to Nissan! ![]() 3) Audi A6 4.2 Prestige : Nice saloon with a distinct face! Looks aged, however, (imo) appears way better than new E-Class! ![]() 4) Mercedes-Benz E550 : A revolution in technology, however, a step-back in design! I'd rather take the F.L W211 with goodies! ![]() 5) Lexus GS : No thanks! She fails the 2nd most-basic factor in my ranking... the looks! Old-gen looks better by miles! ![]() 6) Jaguar XF Premium : Yeah, the Jeremy's choice! I just hate it's head-lamps & won't drop my money, just for interior! ![]() 7) Hyundai Genesis Sedan 4.6 : Hate is the term that describes my respect for Hyundai! Genesis is the car I hate like Chinese clowns! ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | E550, XF and A6 for me, in that order.... I really like the Jaguar since it has the new 385hp V8. M

So you finally warmed up the new E-Class styling... I also see you placed the Jag ahead of the Audi A6 this time. The XF is really nice in the metal but the interior really isn`t that great imo. Where would you place the BMW 5er.. I actually like the 550i a lot. It`s a stunning piece of work that still gets my respect. I truly can`t wait for the next generation.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The new E wins this pole for me. My second choice would easily be the XF. The BMW not so much simple because it's old now.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This is a hard one. With these engines I'd still have to go for the 550i. I'm too young to drive an automatic (OK, dual-clutch excluded) . A6, E-Class and XF tie for the second place. Then M45. GS feels too dated. Genesis doesn't attract me at all... However, preferably I'd wait for the F10 5er. Last edited by bmer; 05-13-2009 at 08:39 PM. |

Yeah honestly I'm torn between the Jag and the Benz. I like the Benz's interior better, but the Jaguar's exterior better. Audi is still nice. A 550i with the M pack is nice, but I still can't stand the interior, but I'd take it over any of the Asian cars without a second thought. M
