Edmunds numbers are always slower than the rest of the U.S. test sources. I wouldn't get to caught up on Edmunds numbers.

Kind of true. Road & Track gets the fastest numbers I have ever seen.
They managed to squeeze the 599, ZR1 & LP560-4 in 11.2 seconds.
They also managed the fastest time I have ever seen for the Veyron at 10.2 sec.
