Usually on more immature sites, in polls you vote for one, defend the choice you made, and find best ways to bash the others.
The environment is much more mature, controlled and friendly here.

The E60 is being replaced next year, but it seems BMWs are like wine - the get better with time My God that M5 looks hot, and the Alpina is just marvelous

As I said, gets better with time, so the E39 is just heaven on earth

M5 - there is no substitude

Even old school M5's hold their own, the first one E28 (1985)

Or the next E34 (1988)

All together: E28-1985, E34-1988, E39-1998, E60-2005

E63 without a doubt. It's my favorite uber-sedan. I love the looks, love the performance. I know it's a bit slower than a couple others around track, but let's be serious here. How many times have you heard someone taking their M5 or E63 on track? These cars are for road trips and highway blasting, and that is why the E63 gets my vote.

Very simple, the might M5 & the most basic reason for that is the phenomenal high-revving V10!

From this bunch, I'd probably take the E63. Mainly because of the styling...I'm sure you can't fault any of these vehicles when it comes to driving exprience(s). Truthfully though, I'd rather own an E34 or E39M5 over any of these. Those are the original super saloons, the cars that made me love BMW.
