Would be interested who has voted for the Audi A8 W12 and why?! Definitely a great car…but way to old right now…

The 760Li has the best engine now, an engine that is the most powerfull and the most efficient. The interior design of the 7er looks much better to me, and the exterior is on par with the Merc, so, my vote for the 760Li.

If Mercedes would have worked better on their engines and given a proper update to their 500 and 600 engines thing would have been different too.

+1

and let's not forget a lot of the buyers in this segment sit in the back seat, not the drivers seat.

It's a public poll.

Anyway, it wasn't me. I haven't voted and I don't think I will. When I first saw the pictures of the facelifted S-class I thought that I would have no choice but to vote for it when this type of thread pops up, but seeing those pics of the A8 I'm not so sure. I know it's old and that the other two are probably better in several respects, but it still might be the one I'd choose....

..and I've seen at least one review saying 7er has better backseat comfort than S-class. Of course the S-class has softer suspension but it doesnt make 7-serie uncomfortable.
I dont get it, does people really think the new 7-series isnt suitable for long distance driving?
its hardly a uncomfortable car like some people seem to think and its defintly not sportscar.

This is a no brainer for me. The S-class. I don't even have to think about it for a second.

1. S
2. 7er
3. A8

I don't think anyone here thinks that at all. Just like a BMW has better handling, a Mercedes is more comfortable. The Benz isn't a poor handler and the BMW isn't uncomfortable, the opposite car is just a little better at those respective things.
