Thanks mate, Motor has some pretty good comparisons but I stopped buying their magazine because of their poor quality of writing.

Around a corner yes. In SCCA racing, the difference between the classes is usually less than that.

Like Sunny said, in a corner to be that fast is basically passing the guy without much issues. In a straight line, it's not that big a deal, but in the corner to have to take in effect of the tire's grip and body roll/weight issue of the car. So if you can pull a move like the dissapearing line you'll pass them without them knowing you're even there.
