Giving the C350 more power isnt going to help much. Sure in straightline it will help but if BMW and MB want to threaten S4, they need to work on handling and suspension as well. Just to increase horsepower wont help much. Again, if it wasnt for M3 , BMW would offer LSD for the 335i as well.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Saw the R36 last week and it is a great looking car. Understatement and power - just perfect. Nevertheless compared to the other ones - it is "just" a Volkswagen. But probably it is the best combination of power, and the right price…

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I voted for the S4 but only by a whisker. Give the 335i the diff it deserves and the choice would be clear cut. As it stands the S4's weedy sounding V6 is a major turn-off but the handling dynamics bring it back into contention. Hate that new, old-looking, dash too.

![]() ![]() ![]() | 1. s4 2. vw r36 3. 335i 4. alpina b3 i would probably vote 335i and alpina b3 above vw r36 if there weren't so many 3er already on the street and if the majority (relatively) of 3er drivers weren't total douche.

![]() | Alpina B3 for me but only because the S4 is too heavy... Despite its weight, impressive track times although it looked like the track was wet which would give it a big advantage |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | S4 is my choice over here without a doubt. It's crazy how good it looks compared to the 335, or even the Alpina.

![]() | Oops, my bad, just noticed the article says the track conditions were 3C and sunny...that's very impressive that the S4 beat a reasonably modified 335i in the form of the Alpina B3 on a dry track... |
