The Bugatti is designed to be the best engineered car with the widest range of abilities where else the SSC is designed to achieve the highest possible top speed . You can say the design of the Veyron is compromised, but it is a much better all round package than the SSC Ultimate Aero. There isn't much technical info on the SSC, or more like I haven't read much about it, but I will take the Veyron for sure. You are hardly ever going to experience the outer limit of these cars anyway. The Veyron is currently the best engineered car and that is a good enough reason to get my approval.

A car you don't see in years, not even in decades... but in life spells! ![]() No offenses, Ultimate Aero to me is more like a kit car, I'd rather take the S7! It's in the completeness of the product. The Bugatti Veyron is, from tip to tail, the most complete end user product the supercar genre has dished up in years - a masterpiece. The SSC, viewed as a whole, is more of a curiosity than a masterpiece. Just look at that completely gratuitous and Veyron-aping two-tone colour scheme on the nose. Laughable. As if, one's entry into the hypercar league necessitates a two-tone colour scheme for credibility. Pfff... It doesn't end there, just as the Saleen S7 mimics a McLaren F1 long-tail, the SSC looks no more modern than the Diablo it immitates. This, sadly, is an unfortunate legacy of mid-engined American supercars. Anyone remember Vector?
