Even more interesting is the acceleration 0 - 200 km/h:

1. RS6 - 13,2 sec
2. B5 S - 13,5 sec
3. M5 - 13,8 sec
4. E 63 - 14,2 sec

and also the elasticity! Alpina B5 S

80 - 120 km/h (6th gear):

RS6 - 2,5 sec
B5 S - 2,6 sec
M5 - 6,9 sec
E63 - 9,5 sec

The Alpina is overall the most equal competitor to the RS6!!

Alpina and Audi did the 80-120 km/h in D-mode and not in 6th gear. If I'm right, german call it 'Zwischenspurt'...

It wouldn't surprise me if Alpina B5 is the most comfortable car in this gang?

Alpina also had the best brakes.

Just for comparison: the Sportscars-test of the Touring-versions.

RS6 Avant was the favorite of the GCZ-members.
