True but i was talking about the C63 not the E63

When DR tested both C63 T and RS6 avant,they said that u really have to work the RS6 to it's absolute limits to pass the C63.

Shows the difference between new(C63) and old (E63)

Let's hope Mercedes takes the executive performance sedan segment to a far more modern state than the two cars here represent.

Yes, but that's another story. C63 is smaller. I bet the RS4 B7 would beat the RS6 around a track still today. We gotta think in segments, and there, the RS6 in untouched! I believe that even the new E63 will not beat it.

One thing that I really don't understand is why they say "Top speed electronically limited at 250 Km/h", when there are plenty of videos on the youtube with these cars reaching speeds much higher than the claimed top speed?

Just the other day I saw a video of the new RS6 Avant reaching 290 Km/h. Is this "limited top speed" just a marketing ploy to keep the "green party" or the "health and safety" happy?

You can get a special package, that "delimits" the RS6 to 280 km/h and you get a special carbon package for the engine…but even the standard S6 runs 270 km/h (like the M5) and both are official limited to 250! M5 can be also unlimited for 2.000 or 3.000 Euro - you get a driver training in addition to that then…!

Same for the E 63 AMG! For around 2.500 the car will be limited to 300 km/h!

Example out of the perfomance studio pricelist:

AMG Drivers Package (1) 3.451,00 €

top speed raised to 300 km/h, incl. TÜV approval (1)
and AMG Driver Training "power and passion"
permissible tire sizes and tire models on reques

Sadly Auto Option never make a video with the AMG - so I searched for a different! But the acceleration of the RS6 is just brutal - especially 50 - 100 +!!
