Nope. I like the Z4 and the same applies to the TT, both are incredibly well crafted. Nothing wrong with either of the cars and I'd buy either of them depending on what I'm the market for. If was was in the market for a good looking coupe that's highly practical then the Z4 would be my choice as it is an alternative for the E92 if you're a bachelor. The true roadster experience with uncompromising handling is now solely provided by the Boxster, which would be my choice if I wanted a sports car.

Re: Your favorite Roadster: Z4 vs SLK350 vs TT-S

I have never really liked the SLK very much. SLK looks so small and feminime, almost wimpish. The AMG version do help the design but thats weak comfort.

I've been a fan of the new TT, the Coupé version, since it came. Particulary the angry face. TT is my second choice.

The new Z4 was a hit in my face, stunning little roadster, both from inside and outside. The front is massive and the kidney shape looks awesome. The new Z4 looks so muscular and powerful and it's not even a M-version. Great design from the female designers.

The new Z4 kill these three competitiors and I'm already longing for Coupé version of the Z4.

So the Scrocco is not on your wish list for next year anymore?

Re: Your favorite Roadster: Z4 vs SLK350 vs TT-S

I disagree Luw...

The definitive roadster experience in this price range is provided by the front-engined, rear-wheel driven Z4 - even if the new hard-top does add to the kerb-weight. But then, I'm not going to split hairs over a 1580 kg drop-top with a 225 kW, 400 Nm twin-turbo engine. I believe the power and torque to mass ratios are suitably addressed!

No, the Boxster experience is actually too unique and specifically Porsche - fantastic in its own unique right but altogether different and not definitive.

The E85 Z4 3.0si that I've covered hundreds of kilometres in is, in my mind, the definitive roadster; the cab-backward driving position, the peerlessly smooth, inductive and bassy engine, the manual gearbox, the leech-like handling that smoothly transitions into catchable oversteer... The Z4 is so much better value for money than any other roadster. It's a full-on event.

TT-S - 2nd - but then having 4wd in a roadster's like having rwd in a rally car - kinda defeats the object imo...

SLK - last - never been a fan.

Well, A4 cabrio is gone, ... new one is A5
In my eyes the Boxter cabrio could have become the
Cayman Roadster..

The cayman looks so much better IMO
