We all knew that was marketing crap, but thanks for bringing it up.....Allows me to say that the 7er is winning every single test. As I said way before launch.

The next A8 does indeed have a job to do. Current one is still a favorite, has hardly aged especially interior wise.

Well, it would be a disaster if this doesn't happen. Just imagine it would loose every single test against the older competitors.

Well, C-class doesnt seem to win many tests , despite being new.

The new A8 needs to come now

Which doesn't really mean anything since these reviews also state that the C-Class is an extremely well-balanced car that does everything well and has no real shortcomings.

I honestly don't care anymore where a car places in comparison tests because I've come to understand that this is generally all editor opinion and that every magazine has their favorites (biases).

In magazines like Car and Driver the C-Class will never win a comparison against a BMW 3-Series or Infiniti G because Car and Driver feels that this class is all about sport - when in reality a large portion of that market is also interested in other automotive traits that cars like the MB C-Class or Lexus IS cater too.

You know how it works here on GCZ. I said it before I dont care about winners either. I pick the car my heart want me too.

But it's all about bragging rights, you want your favorite soccer team to win and you want your favorite car to win and we get happy when our favorite win so we can brag about it..imagine if the new 7-series didnt win any comparisons against the S-class, YOU KNOW Mercedes fans would gladly rub it in our faces It feels good to finally shut the mouth on some of the hardcore fans here

PS its good to see AMS changing winners for a change, MB often do well in this carmag.
