Re: Choose Your Coupe-ish Four-Door

Umm, how relevant is this considering the huge price differential?

Re: Choose Your Coupe-ish Four-Door

The CLS is still king to me with the CC close behind. The others are great cars, but just meh imo when compared to the CLS and CC

Re: Choose Your Coupe-ish Four-Door

Aston - It is just a DB9 with extra doors - boring and unimaginative.

Karma - Is stunning inside and out - but I want a real engine with those looks, not some electric mess. I so hope they use a BMW I6 or MB V8 to power "other" versions of the car.

Jaguar - It really doesn't fit here as much and some interior pieces are cheap, engines could be better - otherwise a good car.

Lambo - Not sure about yet. Need to see it in person.

CLS - Nothing wrong here, but it has aged.

Porsche - Just plain ugly right now. Looks like a elongated 911.

CC - My choice, right price, lovely interior and a surprise stunner on the road.

Re: Choose Your Coupe-ish Four-Door

Rapide, followed by the old-ish CLS, can't wait for the mk. 2.

Re: Choose Your Coupe-ish Four-Door

umm why are there concept cars in this poll..
We could have added the CS aswell then..

SO my vote is from a production point of view..
And the fact is..no other production 4door coupe looks better than the Original ( CLS)

Rapide looks the best IMO. That CC looks pretty sick.

Re: Choose Your Coupe-ish Four-Door

Choose the CLS here!! Still the best design in this segment! And in my opinion it definitely has the most stunning interior!! Would have choose the Passat CC - but I don't like the interior…

Re: Choose Your Coupe-ish Four-Door

Mr Siko, thanks for the great poll. May I just add though that I believe the XF to be too mainstream and too saloon-like to cut it as a "saloupe" in this ensemble. I believe a Maserati Quattroporte to be a more fitting inclusion based on its great looks, exclusivity and outright sportiness.

~~~
The profile shot of the Panamera in this company shows just how close it is to a long hatchback is it. Even a fastback descriptor is flattering.
In my opinion the Aston Rapide is most successful at integrating classic elegance with 4 door coupe-like proportions.
