BMW once again raised the bar a little higher but it was expected judging by their reputation and image, a great car with great looks.
The Audi A8 is one solid car, one of the oldest models among the five and still ranked second behind the new BMW 7 by a few points. A great looking car but exterior is starting to look a bit aged.
I'm surprised that the S-class is ranked that relatively low in a third place, it's one of the newer cars and a benchmark and I expected to end up a little higher. Strangely in the handling department the S-class lost like 120-140 points to BMW and Audi respectively which resulted this ranking. It's hard to believe that the handling is that bad and that the lost of that much points is totally justified here.
The Jaguar is one looker of a car and the points the car scored alone isn't enough to justify the car's ranking of choice in my opinion.
The VW is a good and solid car but it doesn't raise any emotion/excitment somehow which in my opinion is an essential when you're buying a car in the top segment.

If you put that in perspective of all the cars, the BMW only won the category "Engine/gearbox" and "Driving Comfort", the latter by just one point which is almost negligible. But all in all, the BMW is for now the most complete package.
