Rubbish! In the immortal words of Doc Bones to Captain Kirk: "Dammit Jim, what the hell's the matter with you?"

There's very little wrong with the GT-R's functional, high-tech interior.

Some interesting points; even if the GT-R costs, say, $85,000, it's a frakking epic achievement at the price. It is substantially slower that the other 3 when it comes to speed in the higher gears. But, still - an amazing car. And now a definitive frame of reference by which other supercars and GTs ought to be judged.

The ZR-1's time to 160 km/h - 6.9s - unbelievable.

Sure its a cheap car but if it costed like a 911 GT2 or a ZR1, how many would buy it over the GT2 or ZR1? Would the GTR sell as many cars like Porsche or Corvette does?

Re: Motor Trend - War of the Worlds: ZR1 vs GT2 vs 599 vs GT-R

If it cost as much a the GT2 or the ZR1, the GTR would have had carbon ceramic brakes as standard, and that would no doubt improve its lap times. The GTR can also receive variable vane turbos so that the engine can run at higher boost without suffering from turbo lag. And that will be sensational.

The GT2 and the ZR1 are both stripped out, light weight and more powerful version than the standard cars, the GTR did well in this test. The GTR V-spec will be a better match up.

The whole idea is that it's good value for money. So what's your point?

As far as I know there are waiting lists for the car all over the world. The same can't be said for the ZR-1 because it's not a global car. Can't get them in RHD. So, Corvettes, sure they sell a lot - in North America. In the rest of the world; practically nothing.

The Nissan is by no means "cheap" but it simply does represent amazing value for the level of technology and driver appeal on offer.

I'll take the motorhome.

Nah, seriously, in my book none of the others is nearly as desirable as the Ferrari. It looks good, goes fast and handles well. I couldn't care less if some other car goes round a track faster, because if I wanted to go round tracks (and had the money) I'd get a race car for that purpose.

My point is if the GTR costed like a GT2, most people would rather spend the money on the GT2. You dont need to be Sherlock to know this.

If the GTR cost like the GT2, Nissan engineers would have definitely made the GTR better than it is now.

Maybe , but lets turn it around, if Porsche knew more about the upcoming GTR they would make the GT2 a better car than its now.
Maybe Nissan has a secret formula how to built better sportscars than Porsche, I dont know.

Anyway , Monster, you are taking me to another direction, you naughty boy. My originial post meant, GT2 would be the best seller.

That's not a point. That's a guess.
