I don't like the Gt-r! Don't like how its just quickly jumped up there with the big boys

For a true super cars to get noticed, it has to makes its way up slowly!

The GT-R is far from being a loser it'll spank pretty much all european cars around the track minus maybe the GT2 and Scuderia.

Well any great machine will get noticed and history and heritage has nothing to do with it,Nissan simply it can rival the best from Germany and Italy and beat them in their own game,do i have to mention the upcoming sepc-V?

Nissan will have to get ready for what the Germans are going to throw at the Gt-r and Vtec! Especially Porsche they are not happy with Nissan as everyone knows with the "cheating"

Who is everyone? And what they do know? Just curious.

And why shouldn't GTR be included in this test? Around the track, it is as close to the GT2 as GT2 is to the ZR1. So I guess GT2 doesn't deserve to be compared to ZR1 either using the same logic?

One thing I have noticed from reading the article is the tyre failures from the 599 and the GTR. I am certain both cars are equipped with tyre pressure sensors, I am not sure if the sensors will give out warnings when the tyre pressure become excessive, but the drivers can check the tyre pressure from the sensors ? I guess the driver can tell when the pressure is too high and abort the run.

The tyre failure on the GTR shouldn't really be a problem, since it has run flat tyres (although not hat high speed) and Nissan engineers have driven a hot lap of the car with one punctured tyre. I guess the nitrogen gas inside the tyre didn't help that much.
