- BMW is more agiler and more precise in the comparison to Mercedes

- The chassis responds very sensitivly, BMW fits with springs a breath more tautly than Mercedes, lies however more agiler and more precisely. Unbelievably easy on the feet for a five-meter car.

- BMW 730d stands with 69,500 euros in the list, the equipment is luxuriös. But one should already still grant oneself to a few nice things. Mercedes computed for S 320 CDI 70,865 euros, the equipment is comparably complete.

- Fascinatingly, these two superGermans. 7er and S-class drive straight on highest level also with the Diesels. New BMW pushes itself before three years old Mercedes, has with engine, chassis and electronics now the advantage.

The big question is: With the new edition of the BMW flagship are the leader in the luxury class now different? The answer is: yes.

As in Mercedes gives also in BMW in the second row ultrabequeme armchair. At first sight the Munich has in the back somewhat more place.

If I had to get a SWB version of one of these cars it would be the BMW. The S doesn't look right in SWB form to me.

Nice comparison..7er is now spear length ahead of competition in every way and MB and Audi now have big challenge ahead in luxury segment.

Hmm, odd. I think the SWB looks better I think. However, I can't deny that the extra legroom is awesome. Loved those things, made you feel like you were sitting on a throne.

I think we are finally starting to warm up on the 7er design. It definitely took me a while, but I would have liked to see the larger spoke wheels. In terms of interior, I'd have to go with the 7er as well because I think it's more interesting to look at. Whether the quality is the same as the S, to be determined when I get my hands on one.

From the pics,front is S spot on while rear i prefer the 7er

I think this picture pretty much confirms what what we have been discussing lately. The BMW is the sporty and the Mercedes is the elegant - at least when it comes to exterior - from a very general view. That means that the Mercedes is a more natural habitant in this segment.
