![]() | Re: Autobild: BMW 730d vs S 320 CDI Yes that is an awesome detail! But those colour combination are highly unfair. All black vs. a nice tobacco/black combination. ![]() Anyway, the S still looks gorgeous in those pics and I'm sure the FL will reassert itself where it belongs, as the most comfortable and refined vehicle in it's class. |

The 7er has visually more pleasing overall design IMO. The iDrive screen looks more harmonious without the hump. In the picture above the S-Class' dashboard seems more cramped, not in actual space but in visual impression. I like the S-Class' metal coated buttons because they are more aesthetic than if they were just black. The steering wheel in the 7er, if not the best-looking BMW steering wheel, still looks a lot better than that awful one in the S. BMW's AC controls are also more intuitive and ergonomic. |

![]() | Re: Autobild: BMW 730d vs S 320 CDI The 7er looks more modern and sporty. The S looks serious. I compare it like this. Both are 50 years women's but one (7er) still likes "play".. The other is more "grown up" and don't get in such adventurous easily. Very similar, but with diferent ways of thinking. |

And the angled dashboard is back, halleluja!! The new 7er has a better design than the S-class, rear, profile and interior is so hot. The S-class has a better front but thats about it. If someone force me to choose one of them , its the bimmer. But a message to Bum-man, I would never buy a car in this size, they are too large and un-sporty for me. I rather drive the car you see in my avatar ![]()
