To kick off our estate car road test special, we’ve gone straight for the performance premier league. Although they can’t match the power of models such as the Audi RS6 Avant and BMW M5 Touring, the two holdalls here offer acceleration that’s hard to match for less than £35,000.

Same here, I am a massive Saab fan. This article isn't really that in depth, I want to know which car handles better, I don't mind if my spine is broken after the drive. My Subaru Liberty Spec B wagon has bone hard suspensions but every time I go around the corner it makes me smile.

Passat for me. The Saab looks ancient. Though ancient is still better than the facelifted 9-5 that looks like a drag queen..

Saab for me, too! Even though i know from first hand experience that Saab is a few clicks behind the germans, i have read that the Turbo X is a hell of a drive!



PS. I never really liked the Passat...
