Lol. The thing is Porsche did something remarkable with the Cayenne, they developed a "sporty" SUV and managed to make heps of money out of it. Obviously other manufacturers with emphasis on driving dynamics have been eying Porsche with jealousy over the money they've made from Cayenne.
With Lamborghini and Ferrari not prepared to develop their counter parts BMW are the only ones who've stepped up to the plate, and they've done it with the X6. It's all about taking a slice of each other's market share. Now that the X6 is out the Cayenne finally has a opponent and the horse race it on. We'll see some very interesting versions of both cars coming up in the near future. Last week I so a video of the new Cayenne dancing around the racing and the driving dynamics looked impressive with virtually no body roll.
