Although the R8 is a terrific car I knew that it's edge in performance over the 911 wouldn't last very long. Like I said in the past, the order would be restored once the 911 is facelifted. And this is just the 911CS which is 20% cheaper than the R8, wait until the facelifted GT3 has landed. Full test will be posted tomorrow.

Even the present GT3 clearly out performs the R8, the next one will leave it way behind. I wouldn't be surprised if the next GT3 hangs with the GTR. R8's appeal is the packaging - mid-engine exotic looks with an interior to die for - not performance.

The R8 has recieved a good deal of pray's for it's performance, but I will admit the interior/exterior design is the selling point.
