Plenty of people do, in the UK at least! Not everyone can afford more than one car and for that reason practicality and all year round usability often have to be taken into account, even when choosing a car in this sector. I don't know how much time you've spent in the UK but "sunny happy days" seldom exist over here and unfortunately remain "in mind" for the most part; the grey, dismal reality is that it's pissing down more often than not.

Yes, the UK is special when it comes to weather. On the other hand, all cars today are fully functional in most types of weather, so to me it seems like a total waste to go for a TT when you can have a Cayman for less money just because the TT is a tad faster on roads covered in rain or snow. I guess, the world outside of UK is blessed in that sense...

Give me the TT-S over the Cayman any freakin day!
