Which do you guy's feel is more important and why....

For Mercedes to build a R8 rival, or Audi to build a CLS competitor?

In my opinion, Audi doesn't need a CLS rival and Mercedes doesn't need a R8 competitor. Both cars fits perfect to the philosophy of the brand and a "poor imitation" isn't necessary.

Audi has to build a CLS rival, and quick!! I see atleast 30 CLS Mercedes each and every day. I've never seen a R8 on the road in my life!

It's simple mathmatics if you ask me..

A7 will bring more cash to Audi..
And Audi makes less..
So yeah Audi Need to make a CLS competitor..

Well if Mercedes was to build a R8 competitor it would at the very least drum up some new publicity! It seems that the R8 has been the talk of the industry since it's release. I thought the new M3 and C63 would take the attention away from the R8, but it was rather short lived imo. The only car that's been able to steal alittle bit of it's thunder is the GT-R..

Your right but the R8 has been able to withstand the media crush for new models, and keep the focus on the R8! Normally the public is quick to move on, this doesn't appear to be the case with the R8 imo!
