The Biturbo-V8 makes the X6 to the wild animal
As a sport SUV, the X6 fulfills highest expectations. With Biturbo-V8, it strikes the Porsche.
At least as long as it drily is or goes straight ahead.

1. X6
2. Cayenne
3. X5

X5 (355hp)/X6 (407hp)/GTS (405hp)
Acceleration 0-100 km/h: 7.1 s 5.4 s 6.1 s
0-130 km/h: 11.3 s 8.6 s 9.4 s
0-200 km/h: 31.4 s 20.8 s 25.1 s
60-100 km/h: 3.7 s 2.9 s 3.2 s
80-120 km/h: 4.8 s 3.6 s 4.0 s

Tested fuel consumption:
14.6 L / 14.9 L / 16.6 L
(despite more powerful engine X6 V8 Biturbo is almost as fuel efficient as the X5 with 355hp, impressive.)

Re: Autobild: X6 vs X5 vs Cayenne GTS

Lovely footage. The test how ever high lights the very thing I don't get with the X6. Despite having the exact same power output as it's competitors it is still significantly faster in acceleration. And this is not the first test which high lights that fact.

Re: Autobild: X6 vs X5 vs Cayenne GTS

Love the interior/exterior colors on the Porsche. The X6 makes even the facelifted Cayenne look a little dated. Still though the Cayenne GTS and X6 are my favorite SUVs right now.

Turbo turbo and torque probably one of the reasons.
X6 develop 600nm@1750 rpm. GTS 500nm@3500 rpm.

I dont know the weight but perhaps X6 has lower weight than the competition.
Combination of Torque and weight helps the X6 I think.

Re: Autobild: X6 vs X5 vs Cayenne GTS

The X6 is the type of car the Cayenne aspire to be. I bet that Porsche engineers are studying the X6 very carefully since it obviously has "Porsche" characteristics.

It depends on the off-road capabilities they want to give to the car, the Cayenne is a proper 4x4 while the X6 isn't.

Re: Autobild: X6 vs X5 vs Cayenne GTS

The Cayenne GTS featured here is no longer a proper 4x4 given its lack of ground clearance.

Yep active differential, turbos and all.
I can't remember somewhere, but I read about it feeling like a GT-R, R34.

Well if u r talking about straight line performance the ML63 and Cayenne turbo/S owns the X6.

The rear headroom of the X6 is a joke for a SUV
