Autozeitung: MB CLS 350 CGI vs VW Passat CC

CLS / CC

292hp/299hp
0-100km/h 7.2 s/6.0 s
Price: 61.404 € / 40.800 €

Conclusion:
"Naturally one can argue about the sense of these 4-doors. Under aspects of utilizable value they know some more badly than sedans, can however expensively be paid - typically the Coupé evenly. But why one is not to grant oneself one of these cars? Both are comfortably, surely, attractively, make fun when driving and with looking at. The victory goes to the trade wind - not only because of the lower price by the way. Because also with available space it lies before the CLS. And with the driving dynamics succeeds to it, agil as he is, even a large surprise."

Both are comfortable, attractive, fun to drive and good looking. The victory goes to Passat CC, not only because of lower price. It is also with more space, size and more agile, much better driving dynamics.

Re: Autozeitung: MB CLS 350 CGI vs VW Passat CC

No contest, CLS all the way. The VW is nice, but next to the Original Benz it looks an elongated, overhung (especially in the front) mess.

Re: Autozeitung: MB CLS 350 CGI vs VW Passat CC

The Merc by the way is by far the more elegant of the two designs and pulls off the coupe thing more convincingly...

Technically the Merc was OWNED.

But aesthetically the VW was OWNED. Why does it look quite good in some shots, and then in others it's a complete eyesore. It looks American actually. Like a Taurus or something. I don't see ANY German DNA.
