how the heck can they equip the A4 with all-season tires, give the car some proper summer tires instead.

It was and the C wasn't

Nonetheless, A4 had all-season tires, not as much grip as proper summer tires

But it had quattro which adds even more grip and for a person who drove the RS4 i thought u already knew that

Without a doubt the C handling would have been better if it was equipped with the fancy stuff

but who the heck want to drive a FWD Audi?
and maybe the C-class would improve better with agility package but it aint Audis fault that Mercedes is overpriced to be fair to the Audi, the agaility package wouldnt change much, the audi would still win.

and what about S-line for A4, doesnt that include a sportier chassi suspension?

For the first time in history the C isn't overpriced,the W204 is very well equipped and well priced too.simply the car Edmunds had didn't had that option but the Audi was german spec with all the goodies,the advanced agility package will make a difference trust me and maybe the C would still lose but with a smaller margin as it is already is

Apparently alot in EU and u know,i see more FWD Audis than quatttros

If it was a NA spec C-class then no because it wont be offered until next years model.

Interesting comparison...the Audi is definitely my favorite in the segment right now, but you can't really tell how much it will cost in the U.S. because the pricing hasn't been released. What Edmunds has is an approximate price that may or may not be that accurate by the sound of all the extra equipment the Audi has. The interior is definitely a winner for me, but the C-Class exterior edges it out.

What's annoying about the Audi is that it is sorely underpowered compared to the Beemer and the MB, even with the OLD 3.5L engine....I could really go for a loaded S4 though

impressive, despite being underpowered here, audi still wins.
