Nice poll. The answer obviously depends on one's financial situation. For me, it is between GT3, R8, GTR and M3. GT3 cause I always dreamed of owning a 911 and it the 997 GT3 is as good as they come. R8, cause I always wanted a mid engined exotic. M3, R8 performance for almost half the price and practicality of seating 4. But in the end it is GTR, that is unbeatable when it comes to the value proposition, if you can manage to snatch one at MSRP (or even 10k above). And as for the American choices, as good as they are, with the exception of GT40, they don't do much for me. If I do end up buying an American car, it will have to be a proper muscle car, like Shelby GT500 or the upcoming Camaro, but I doubt I will fancy them for longer than the next long weekend trip. |

It wuld be much easier for me to choose if GT2 was included in this poll...  Like this, probably the GT3.  |
