Coupe for me. Best way to drive. Better than a sedan or sure.

Thanks for the laugh! Other than the CL having some very powerful engines to give that fat monster at least some straight line speed, the CL is a horrible car imo

Sooooo much better coupes (every coupe from BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Aston etc) imo is better than the MB CL class.

Hatchback for me at the moment.... while I love big hunks like the M5 or whatever and adore the aesthetics of a nice coupe, ala Alfa Romeo GT, or 911, etc, there's something really appealing to me about the philosophy of a hatch, esp a hot hatch - small, lightweight, zippy, focus on raw and precise driver enjoyment - plus great for city driving, much more economical (relatively speaking) than bigger alternatives and I think many look great too - MkIV R32, 205 GTI, Clio Sport, 130i Sport, Alfa 147 GTA, MkV Golf GTi... to name a few

Coupe in the 1st place, but since i'm married with 2 children i rather go for a nice 535d or a nicely, Hamann modded X5...

Sedan. It suits my style. Practical enough to seat four/five, and have a separate boot for luggage and cargo, but not compromising on style like (most) wagons, nor exposing the occupants to the outside elements when opening the boot, like a hatchback or liftback-sedan shape.

Favourite size is probably mid-compact sedan, 3er/C/A4 size. However, up to 5er/E/A6 is fine, too. IMO, if the Jetta Mk.V wasn't so ungainly looking in the rear, or made in Mexico, then it would be a fine vehicle.

In my current life situation coupes will work fine and they also look the best in general.

Exactly my sentiment too. Some coupes look amazingly, while other renditions of coupes are very unappealing to me. IMO, the CL is a stunning example of what the shape of a coupe should be.... but at the other end of the spectrum there's the CLS which is far from being a coupe.
Also, I think some people get confused with coupes and GT's. Some people might call the 6er a coupe..but it could also be tagged a GT ..so there's some grey shades there in defining what is a coupe or not (and now the CLS has really thrown the word 'coupe' up in the air)

For visual appeal, I'd have to say a coupe is my cup of tea.... but if I had to choose a car for myself, I'd probably go for a powerful sedan rather than a coupe..simply so I can have a 'wolf in sheeps clothing' type of vehicle (eg: M5) rather than an obvious attention seeking coupe.

So, what would i vote for? ... Beats me.. i still have no idea which to vote for.

I'm personally a fan of wagons. They just have that 'chunkiness' which I like so much in cars.

Second woult be coupes - especially ones with a heavy 'cab-rearward' look to them.

Hey Top Secret .... could you give us an example or two of wagons you like and also 'cab-rearward' looking coupes ?

I'm a huge fan of the A6 Avant.

Not to mention the E46 3 Series Touring:

Heck, the old Subaru Liberty Wagon looks awesome as well (so does the current one, of course):

And last but not least, the Citroen DS Safari does it for me:

Cab-rearwards/cab-backwards cars are just cars with a long bonnet and short rear, they just have a really powerful stance on the road and have awesome proportions, if you ask me:

The Z4 Coupe is a prime example of a cab-backwards coupe.
