Imho BMW should launch a "316i" with the 207 GTI/Mini Cooper S turbo engine to compete with the A5 1.8 TFSI in terms of performance.

Yup, Audi is quite strong at the lower end but the 6-cylinder category is where BMW reigns. The 3.0 TDI is a great challenger nevertheless.
