IMO the GLK is more attractive than the ML and poise a whole lot more character. If there's one car that looks like a little brother, than it's the Q5 which is like clearly a smaller version of the Q7, hence the name.

Re: MB GLK vs. Audi Q5 vs. BMW X3

The Audi is nice, but like others have stated it is too predictable. GLK for me. Either way the X3 stands no chance here. For me after the GLK, I'll take the little VW SUV.

Re: MB GLK vs. Audi Q5 vs. BMW X3

the x3 is a bit dated for me to agree with it...i'll say the glk because it is visually the strongest vehicle being compared...i appreciate the Q5, and i like the evolution of the grille and the rear, its just not provoking enough for me to like it..the GLK has a strong stance to it, like tonka truck like.and it has started up roars over its apperance...

i like it best, i still LOVE the X3 though

Re: MB GLK vs. Audi Q5 vs. BMW X3

Like this wasnt coming...

Welcome to the wonderful world of progress , BMW started the small premium SAV - Sales increased and now here comes the rivals...
Of course we expect the X3 to face tough competition from the Q5 and the GLK-Klasse that is plain to see. But whereas the Audi technology interests me the design does not - too plain , no passion , nothing to stand out .
Whereas the GLK - It looks especially taut in some areas , obviously German with industrial like features in its design , the interior leaves me cold though.
Will the world embrace the bold image of the GLK? Maybe Samantha , Cindy etc will? But Mercedes-Benz have already shot themselves in the foot with the GLK-Klasse . No right hand drive availability? that will register on the GLK sales sheets.

But what about BMW X3 - The pioneer for these two vehicles.
Well the car has had it's mid life refreshening and is heading for the end of it's life , having learned the lesson of what people want with a small SAV
with the original X3 . Mercedes and Audi have only moulded the concept in their own image. With the next generation X3 you will see how BMW intend to take it's mid-size SAV. Remember room has been made for the X1 now.

We will be having this discussion again when the disguised cars roll out this summer but you will see a more dynamic roof-line and shallow glass area Which shows that progress has been made in taking the mid-sized premium SAV further and of course like progress everyone will learn from it again.
Product planning is a just a vicious circle.

Re: MB GLK vs. Audi Q5 vs. BMW X3

The more I look at the pictures, the more I like the Q5 and the more I hate the GLK.

So the Q5 gets my vote here.

My vote goes to the best-looking machine among all, the Q5 ...!

Re: MB GLK vs. Audi Q5 vs. BMW X3

Perhaps it's not really fair to compare the new kids on the block, Q5 and GLK against the aging X3... when is it due for a replacement?
