The Benz is right there with the Porsche around the track. Shocking for a Benz. Still though I'll take the Cayenne GTS here.

Nice comparison. The GTS is way more agile than I thought.

Haha. Yes, this issue is fantastic and funny, too. No REAL Sportscars... Just trucks, super-wagons, tuned-Minis, and the funniest comparison of all time: Brabus Unimog vs. Brabus smart

I wouldn't be too sure. From the X6 reviews I've read nobody have yet to mention anything about the X6 being something supernatural. It weighs pretty much the same as the Cayenne and sport the same type of technology. Since the X6 is new it might be marginally better but will unlikely swipe the floor.

Re: AutoBild Sportscars - ML63 vs. SRT8 & Cayenne GTS & Touareg R50

No, the standard versions of the X6 could never compete with high end versions from Porsche and Mercedes but reviews have said that the chassis is great and that the weight is disguised very well. To me that is more a sign of a sports car than anything revealed in these nonsense Autobild tests.

Re: AutoBild Sportscars - ML63 vs. SRT8 & Cayenne GTS & Touareg R50

"First drives" have already been published and my guess is that comparison tests against the Cayenne are being conducted as we speak, so it's only a matter of time before we get to know if this SAC thing is more than smoke and mirrors.

Then you didn't read the articles entirely... Of course it's not "supernatural", but almost all of them say that the car handles like no other SUV/SAV or SAC for that matter. I know they were exaggerating a little, but i remember some were even saying that it handles almost like regular 3 series.

Give it a sport package and that V8 TT and i'm sure it'll show better than any of it's competitors.

At least till new Cayenne arrives.

Im pretty sure that it at least will be the sportiest in this notoriously un-sporty segment.
