That's for sure.

I like this quote from Car&Driver:

Quote:

Ridiculously Capable

Have you ever comfortably slid a 5000-pound SUV through a 90-mph sweeper? Up to this point, we hadn’t either, but BMW turned us loose at Michelin’s proving grounds in Laurens, South Carolina, where we did just that.

Not only did we slide it around, but for something this big and heavy, the X6 has amazing turn-in and grip, and the brakes never overheated. Sure, the X6 understeers mildly at the limit, but the fact that it doesn’t plow like most every other ute is surprising. However, we tried everything—sharp steering inputs, jumping out of the throttle mid-corner—and the rear end will not come around. (Except in the wet. We’ll get to that later.) Also surprising is the agreeable heft to the steering wheel as well as the meaningful feedback transmitted through it.

Re: AutoBild Sportscars - ML63 vs. SRT8 & Cayenne GTS & Touareg R50

Yeah that is true according to all the first drive reports. They all report unbelievable (for a SUV) handling. All I know personally so far is that the X6 is just flat gorgeous inside and out.

I hope so. The new front of the ML63 AMG (the regular face is waay better)can make the Cayenne look almost good...

Neither for me. These kind of cars are completely pointless and unattractive to my eyes.

I'd take the Porsche with AT. I think this car actually looks great and definitely wouldn't mind owning one. Would have loved to see an X6 in the fray though.

Poor T-Reg gets no love hehe

IMO there's no SUV out there that can make the cayenne look good,it's down right ugly along with the front of the new ML63,gladly both drive supremely well though and i expect the FL ML63 to be even better handler.

I doubt the part that ML63 will handle better than GTS. GTS is the GT3 of the SUVs.
