this is also for the M3:
5-60 mi/hr: 5.4 s
30-50 mi/hr: 7.8 s
50-70 mi/hr: 6.2 s
70-0 mi/hr: 161 ft
gov. lim. top speed: 161 mi/hr
lane change speed: 69.6 mi/hr
curb mass: 3680 lb
observed fuel economy: 16 mi/gal

It should be online pretty soon.

This was from a head to head comparison test in which the M3 was picked over the IS-F

M3 with 233 out of 250 points.
IS-F with 219 out of 250 points.

only a 1 sec difference between the M3 & the IS-F around laguna seca. This is definitely a spectacular 'first effort' by Lexus.

Even if the time difference were 4-5 seconds, I still find that a very impressive effort by Lexus.

Agreed.

It seems the Lexus is built by the same principle as the C63 and that is by no means a bad one.
