The seats on that particular C63 look horrible. Its interesting to see that they did the time attack in exactly the same time.

As for the Performance Packg, I thought it comes with 19" AMG wheels?

Just noticed that the tire width is actually skinnier on the AMG. Mercedes should have put some fatter rims considering the power and weight those tires have to overcome.

Regarding the weight, this M3 looks to have a sunroof, so subtract another 15kg for a difference of 139kg for "similarly equipped*" cars. Add in DCT and the weight differential is around 120kg.
*"Similarly equipped" being very loosely applied here as this M3 still has EDC which the C63 doesn't have, and over 8K more euros in options.

The pictures shows no sunroof? The C63 comes with a lot of "options" standard.

The CLK BS, although a highly desirable car goes around the ring as fast as the E92 M3 and will probably be turned into toast by the M3 CSL.

Of course they can improve the car. If anything they'll give it the full 500hp of the CLK BS and improve the chassis. The standard CLK63 wasn't a track star either, but the BS is. Saying that more power couldn't help or be done correctly is really short changing AMG IMO. A Black Series car would be a ground up re-think of the chassis.

C63 really needs to have better weight distribution, wider tires and a full locking diff.

As does the M3.
OK, perhaps it's a reflection on the roof of the M3 in the pic. If you want to quibble over 15kg, then fine. The M3 would still weigh over 100kg less than the C63. That's a far cry from the 30kg that you were predicting and claiming as negligible.

Add in DCT and the weight difference would be even less; that 30kg was based on stock configurations. Why don't you get it?

I already did add in DCT. Why can't you read? Or are you aiming to add 2 DCT transmissions to this car?
