| Re: Autobild: (FL) SLK 350 vs Boxster S This is a hard one. The Porsche is the obvious choise for the driver but the car looks a bit dated and I like the Cayman better. The Mercedes on the other hand is a great car and had it not been for the harelipped front it would no doubt have been the car for me... but as it is now. Maybe I have to go for the Porsche. No... the Mercedes.... ehh... well...

In fact, if I had the choice I would prefer the SLK I to the II, FL or not ...The center console of the Boxster is not great, overall the interior of the SLK is much better. The colour is über-cool on the SLK, inside and out! Love it! However the Boxster is a clear winner for me.

Pre-FL SLK is the best looking roadster. The new one, the front is a disaster, imo...Here in this comparo, i'd go with Porsche.
