Where? 12 km oval of Papenburg, Germany.

1st test - 0-250-0 km/h - cars with limited topspeed.
2nd test - 0-300-0 km/h - the others...

Ahh I love these tests. But damn 0-300-0 have got to be putting a lot of stress on the car.

You know, I can't say I am overly thrilled about this event.

Why you ask? Because it's always the same bunch of vehicles. Always a swab of tuned Porsche's, BMW's, Mercedes' and Corvette's. Whilst I realize a certain stock of automobiles must be tested - the German's in particular - for reasons of the general reading demographic, I'm longing for the day when we see a Zonda or Koenigsegg in one of these tests. Perhaps even a Wiesmann, Spyker or Morgan. Something, uhh, kind of new.

Oh well. I'm interested to see what the Edo MC12 can achieve.

Why wouldn't they? They give them out for lapping the 'Ring. That's a hell of a lot more stress on the car.

I'll agree somewhat; particulary in the case of Koenigsegg. However, that's not always the case... Pagani was involved in a few high speed tests when the Zonda S was first released. But of course, that's just Pagani. In the end, what it's always going to come down to is choosing a select bunch of vehicle that will sell magazines. Evidently, there are still many who haven't a clue about some of the manufacturers that were aforementioned in my previous post. That being said, I'm more or less fighting with myself on this issue. Haha.
