Wait until BMWs will get the dynamic/intelligent AWD to move in on the Evo's "yaw dance", oh and a semi-auto too.

E90 is looking good, particulary the front, its only the rearlights that is a letdown. Hopefully a facelift will fix that problem.

Its dissapointing that only the UK gets the real evo's worth owning. The FQ series no doubt would have dominated this test for the same money as the beemer.

I like the Evo more than the Sti to be honest. The Evo is so agressive looking. That front end does it for me while the rear end of the Sti kills it. I hate those tailights.

How come these AWD cars don't have their engine hanging ahead of the front axle or suffer from chronic understeering the way a Audi does?

Indeed I have, at a car show. I have seen the standard WRX on the road, and I actually quite like it. Much better in person than in pictures. More my style, though, is the Legacy:
