Re: AZ: Aston Martin DBS vs Mercedes CL 65 AMG

There is no doubt that DBS looking 20 times better than CL65 but CL65 is easier to live with. But when you buy a car in this price range you can afford several cars. I rather be driving a DBS and using a 4-door M3 as a second car

It's not a good GT - GTs are supposed to handle and the CL 65 will toast all four tyres in a matter of a few good corners.
It's a two door large sedan - which means that other than the prestige of owning a coupe it has no real merit over an S65.
It's too cab-forward to be sexy.
It's too heavy to be wieldy.

[BTW, Nice auto-sig bro!]

Both are sick cars! Quite difficult to decide which one. I guess the DBS would be the best choice.

Re: AZ: Aston Martin DBS vs Mercedes CL 65 AMG

Well, after watching Tiff behind the wheel of DBS, according to him and i believe him 100%, DBS ain't just about the looks, it's a serious performance car too. Ok, not like GT2, but still an awesome machine. Fun to drive, fast, great engine, great handling and looking 10 times better than any CL available.

I don't need more, therefore DBS for me.

Btw, Andreas, how is CL65 "easier" to live with?

better comfort, more practical. DBS score 0 points in "Seat comfort in the back", how is that, isnt there a backseat?

PS wonder what Merc1 will vote for....

Re: AZ: Aston Martin DBS vs Mercedes CL 65 AMG

Mind you, i've been asked which one I would pick here, meaning which one I would drive and i wouldn't allow anyone to drive me in it, so i don't care one bit for the comfort in the back.

Overall comfort of both, i'm sure CL has the advantage there, since it has longer wheelbase, but i'm also sure that the difference is not like heaven and earth.
