I don't like the look of the Beemer.
But I'll take it in a heartbeat over the R32. The 1 just feels more special, more premium, and doesn't need a giant grille and enormous air intakes for that. The Golf almost looks "tuning" and I don't like it at all.

How bout neither? 135i for me.
While the 128 has more than adequate power and performance, I can't get around the mundane exterior styling, especially when you compare it to the 135; there is no comparison. | | | | |
