It's the same in Croatia, Martin, except being considered rude and impatient. Guys kindly come to you and want to do it for you and it's only up to you if you want them to do it or you'll do it yourself.

Which is cool... I usually tip them a decent amount because they are usually friendly. However I have heard horror stories of them putting petrol in a diesel car.

Whats the point, you still have to get out of the car to pay for the fuel. Maybe yes if you could pay for the fuel from inside your car aswell. But then again, how lazy do we want humanity to get!!! A bit of sun and exercise, no matter how small is good so I think we should stop looking for ways to make our species more lazier.

As long as it won't run the nozzle straight through the passenger seat I'll say, lets fuel up baby.
