I see a Z4 and an slk side-by-side everyday in my work parking lot and the Z4 looks old. The front looks dated, the profile looks very droopy. I never liked the current generation Z4 that much especially from profile view but now it just looks old.

I driven Z4 3.0si and its one of the sportiest and most fun cars I ever driven. I could pick the Z4 over the competition based on the way the car sounds and drive. The look isnt number one for me.

The problem I have with the SLK is that the front lights look like fish eyes because of the excessive bubbly shape and the graphics inside them. Not a big fan of that F1-wannabe -look either.

TTS all the way. Though I am not too impressed with it's front body work, the engine is more impressive than the Merc one. Way better interior. It's much lighter and probably more sportier and you can actually get a manual transmission unlike the SLK.

Is the TTS engine better? Dunno but vaguely remember reading something like 272hp. Also i'm pretty sure the slk comes with a pretty good 6 speed manual

Pretty sure you can't get the SLK 350 with a manual, at least not in the US. And there is more to engine than a max HP rating.

Pretty sure you can get the 350 wif a manual, for the states not a 100% sure. The 350 fl engine from initial reports has good hp, torque, power delivery and is quite responsive. Guess we'll have to wait for further tests.
