I doubt that brake distance for 335i.

Regardless, it's my choice without thinking twice.

Shity runflats... (Bridgestone Potenza RE 050 A is runflat, if I'm right)
Braking with cold brakes is a bit better: 36,8 m

Re: [AutoBild] Audi S5 vs. BMW 335i and Mercedes CLK500 - 01-30-2008, 06:50 AM

Well these runflat tyres are a bad idea from BMW...

BTW I chose 335i.

The S5 is beautiful, but the interior is no-way for me, I don't like it at all. In factI like the S5 less and less, it looks a bit too long...the swooping side is not my taste...and with the A4 coming with the same lines it will not stay exclusive imo. But it stays really good-looking. Also, AWD is really not my thing.

The CLK, well, it is elegant, the interior is really good-looking. But I am no great fan of the exterior, and it is clearly getting old here.

The 335i is beautiful, the interior is really good, and as far as motor and drivetrain are concerned I think there is nothing to add. Complete package.

Audi S5 for me. You really can't find a more beautiful coupé out there today.
Btw, damn that CLK looks ooooold now!

Yes the CLK really is outdated now.
The only thing it has, is the comfort. It is smashed by the two others in all the other criterias. And with that pricetag....you really need to want a CLK to buy one, because otherwise it's hard to choose it!

Re: [AutoBild] Audi S5 vs. BMW 335i and Mercedes CLK500 - 01-30-2008, 06:59 AM

Yeah, the CLK500 is monstrously expensive. The price tag if like 5k away from an M3 or C63. Naturally the S5 is the hands down the most desirable in the bunch although the 335i would be the choice if I was going to spend my money on either of the three. It offers the best value, although a black S5 would look be my dream choice since it's one of the top 3 best looking coupes under the 100k price mark.

S5 (only A5 model) that look better than 335i. But cars are about passion and feelings and I feel more for the bimmer then a good looking car isnt enough. And its not like 335i is an ugly car either.
and you cant deny the pricetag for the bimmer, its very good price.

Ps you can get a Alpina B3 with 360hp for almost the price a S5.
