let me break down my choices easily|:
an old outrageously expensive soon to be replaced pig vs a new confused bland sausage made of whole pig vs the 335? is it really a choice?

You are reading in my mind, the worst thing is probably the central console and the buttons around the gearstick, although the door panels, wood treatment and general atmosphere straight from the 90's Volkswagens are also worthy examples of total lack of style and refinement.

335i for me..IMO,it features best package in this trio..Its fast,great looking and a great value for the money..Audi is very,very close..especially in interior design..Merc..well,its outdated,heavy and extreme on price tag

..IMO,BMW should have alu trim,not that hideous wood one and than the winning formula would be complete..

you CAN specifiy woodtrim or aluminum trim as far as i know, which is not a deal on a test car

S5 for me hands down. It beats the BMW inside and out and shames the CLK.

Yeah,I know..

My point was that wood trims doesn´t look as half good as alu trim..Therefore ,I find it useless in 335i Coupe..IMO,off course

As of now, the CLK isnt a real option-its overpriced, dated, slow, and pretty much outclassed in almost every department.

Now the S5 and the 335 are your other options. I think it would be hard to argue that the 335i is more car than the S5-because look at em, the S5 is bigger-and in my opinion has a stronger stance-and more presence. However, as we know, the 335i is going to be the better driver (in dry conditions)-and the better value. SO to justify paying the premium for the S5, i would argue that you would have to be extremely image conscious. NEvertheless its a great car, and in places like LA, where image is everything, it might be the better choice.
