Since this is a M-sport version of the 335i i would have to go for it, stunning! When the 335i is presented without the M-sport package it looks kind of dull compared to the S5.

I'd be damed if the B3 is as responsive as the S5.
Alpina has always build great engines for BMW and I doubt Turbolag is a much of problem on the B3. If it was a Visnhu then we can talk turbolag but B3 is much more sophisticated.
I cant recall I heard about turbolag in the reviews?

The merc is still elegant but it's very dated now and the price is a joke, The Audi is sexy but super heavy, a bit expensive and interior design is a mess. The bimmer is perfect.

I have recently test driven both a 335i and an Audi S5. Aside from nearly identical acceleration figures they are two quite different cars. The BMW is undoubtedly an excellent car but just didn't feel exceptional to me. The Audi quite clearly has superior build quality - especially the interior which I felt was in a different league to the BMW. One thing is for definite, the S5’s cabin is in a class of its own - nothing in its sector gets close to matching the quality and attention to detail, which are hard acts to follow. Its seats are brilliant (as always with Audi), the MMI is better than iDrive and the steering wheel has a nicer feel to it. The 335i is still a good place to be though.
In my opinion the S5 also has much better styling, although to be fair I do believe that the E92 is the best looking modern BMW. Yes, the S5 is more expensive but for many the V8 will justify the additional cost. Finally the brakes - sorry BMW but on this occasion the S5’s brakes felt better (to me) and definitely stop quicker than those of the 335i.
