So the purpose of the 135i is to look sexy?

I doubt you race around bumpy corners at 10/10ths against other cars on a daily basis.
You don't know the S3 will spank the 135i. Based on this assessment, the Audi could very well ride so hard, it could skate uncontrollably over rough pavement. You just don't know.

It doesn't draw down from a lower-class platform, like the Audi. It has its own, and draws components from a size up.

Im not a minority, lots of us think that the S3 looks better.

No one says the S3 is ugly, but often pretty.
Lots of people say the 1 series coupe is ugly, but pretty often so. The 1 series coupe is a hate it or love it car. Usually its the guys who have bmw tattoos on their butt cheeks that think the 1 series coupe looks stunning

What is the purpose of the 1 series coupe anyway? Why would anyone want to buy one over the 335i?

And still no one has told me why the 135i is such a fat pig!

What's the purpose of A3 Cabrio, why would anyone want to buy one over the A4 Cabrio?

It shares many parts with a bigger car (3 series) and has RWD so it's bound to weight quite much.

is it the only way to make you feel better, to tell us what others think. I know plenty of people that dislike A3 and loves the 1-series. doesnt matter what they think. I pick the car I like the most and A3 isnt a car for me.

I tell you why I pick 135i over 335i. I dont need a bigger car and 1-series is much nicer to drive. yes I have driven many 3er and 1er. Yes, 335i look better than 135i but it doesnt make 135i an ugly car, for me its more important how a car is to drive. I dont have the need to flash for others what I drive.

If it was all about enjoying how a car drives you would either:

A: Own a evo and a hothatch for 335i money
B: Own a evo and a track day special for 335i money
C: Own a commuter car and a track day special for 335i money.

LoL, I thought this was a 135i vs 335i debate. I simply answered why I pick 135i over 335i. But let me reply anyway.

No, EVO and Impreza are to hardcore for me. I want some comfort and luxury and style. If I needed a second car I wouldnt mind a EVO but not for everyday use, they would work only as trackcar for me. Also I dont want my car to look too much like a ricer, I prefer a more subtle ride.
Yes, I have driven EVO and Impreza and they arent my thing. A 1-series fullfill my wishes enough and at the same time lets me drive bimmer.

Fair enough but Im gonna get a evo and probably not get a audi or bmw until im like 28.

And lots of people say the 1 series coupe isn't ugly, or looks quite appealing. Even the 1-Series' most vocal critic, Clarkson, agreed the coupe's styling is inoffensive. So why you are so clearly offended is quite amazing. I get the idea you are offended by the idea of this car. Yet months ago, you were singing a completely different tune. Why the change?

As to why anyone would buy one over the 335i, there are numerous reasons. Among them:
Smaller, more practical for manuevering in cities.
Less weight, same power = better performance. 1-Series steering is said to be sharper.
Standard 6-piston Brembos and electronic diff lock.
Cheaper.
And yes, even looks. If you want an elegant, some might say feminine, coupe, the 335i is right. If you want something fresher, more unique, more butch and muscular, you will find that in the 135i (or M3).
