More like how mis informed people are over the GTR. Most overrated car of the year. GTR cannot do 7 min 38 in full production customer spec. Nissan has been misleading again, just like how they were proven to be with the R32, R33 and R34. Nothing new to see here. GTR does the 'ring in 7 min 50, thats the only thing we know for definete about the GTR, other than that nissan are liars ![]() | |

The time set by SA was as said before 7,50 mins and it is not known if the car used was a production car. In the article they mention that the track was damp in a key passage in the Kesselchens. Still a good job I think, just imagine what the V-spec will do! Sport-Auto Fahrberichte Nissan GT-R: Ost-Erweiterung

In my personal view that risk is always elevated when it comes to: 1. Super- or turbocharged engines. 2. Vehicles that are produced in a very limited number.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: GTR vs Zonda at the Ring Exactly, people are quick to point out "Nissan used their own driver" well so did Zonda and for that fact, all the TOP times by Porsche are set by Walter Rohrl who is THEIR OWN DAMN DRIVER. I don't care how many times Horst has lapped the damn N-Ring, the fact is he isn't Nissan's factory driver thus he doesn't know the FULL capabilities of the car unlike Nissan's own driver who basically developed the car for the past 6 years.
